Teddy George

turned 6 months recently and I can’t believe how much he has grown!! It feels like just yesterday that he was 8 weeks old and boarding the plane to come to Alaska. From the moment he first walked into our home, he melted our hearts! He has been such a ray of sunshine in our lives that is practically impossible to imagine what life used to be like without Teddy George.

Teddy George is filled with SO much personality (just like his parents), is so incredibly loving and did I mention he’s really REALLY SMART?!?! Seriously, sometimes we think he is too smart for his own good. His looks are hilarious and when he’s bored, he will yawn…quite loudly. When we walk through the door, he immediately gets into position so that we can rub his belly. Although he loves to play in the snow….he will kindly let you know when he’s had enough of the cold temps with one little look and will proceed to go inside and lay by the fire…leaving you outside all by yourself. When he feels like you’re saying something that is not conducive to HIS lifestyle, he tilts his head. He’s learned to speak on command, shake our hands with his paw and now has an appetite for his salmon and sweet potatoes dog food and his steak treats. We definitely spoil our little Teddy, but we are such proud pup parents!!!

Now that he is officially six months, he is not only losing his puppy teeth (which TOTALLY freaked us out the first time we found a tooth), but Teddy George was able to get his first haircut and yes, I did tear up. I can’t tell you exactly why, but it was such a big moment for him and for me (Lord knows WHAT I’m gonna do when I actually have children…LOL!).  The ladies absolutely LOVE when he bring him to the grooming salon and to hear how good he is with them and how much they adore him makes us so happy. He’s growing more and more each day and with each passing moment, I fall more and more in love with this little guy! With his fresh cut and in one of his favorite bowties, I just HAD to get him in front the camera. Take a look at Teddy George in all of his 6-month glory!!
