excited to write this blog because this just TOO good to keep to myself!!

As most of us do at the end of year, I have been reflecting a lot on 2015 lately and you know what??  A LOT happened to me throughout 2015.  I picked up and moved myself and my business 5,000 miles across the country, I traveled to some
really cool places, including Chicago and Wichita to photograph amazing people, Ethan and I said I do again and we became parents to the cutest fur baby! Whew…that’s a mouthful…and that’s only the big things that immediately come to mind! However, in the midst of all that goodness, I also battled with something we all deal with from time to time: FEAR.

While all of these amazing things were happening, I was constantly doubting
myself, constantly wondering:
“Am I good enough?”
“What if I can’t find the same success here in Alaska that I had in Virginia?”
“Can I really follow my passion and make a living?”
“What if I can’t find my ideal client?”
“Can I really do this and give Ethan everything he needs at the same time?”

I would spend so many days crying tears of sorrow and it didn’t matter that I had so many people in my corner who believed in me. I was beginning to lose faith and couldn’t find the strength to 1000% believe in myself as a businesswoman and wife  because I was 2000% PARALYZED BY FEAR.

There were times I would become inspired, but most times, the feeling would fade and once again my fear got the best of me. It was definitely an emotional rollercoaster and I was tired of it. Literally, SICK. AND. TIRED. So I decided to get off the ride.

I stumbled across Lara Casey’s shop a little over a month ago and as I clicked through the pages, I found myself on her site for hours. Each click turned on a light inside of me and when I found the 2016 Powersheets, I knew I had to have them.

Now that I’ve started working in it…chiiiiillllleeee…..let me tell you something: I was no longer crying tears of sorrow. These days I’m crying tears of joy and smiling as I relish in the fire of passion that is burning in my belly. I honestly can’t put the book down!! I’m obsessed with it! In addition to the workbook, I’ve been reading Lara Casey’s Book “Make it Happen,” and the more I delve into it, with each page I turn, I feel like I’m discovering myself again. I’m remembering why I dream, what inspires me to keep going and that is indeed possible for me to turn each and every one of them into a reality.
